As we are coming to the end of November, the autumnal season is also swiftly fading away and winter is making an appearance, to be honest it definitely has with the cold crisp weather we are getting lately! I wanted to dedicate a blog post on my autumnal rituals that I have been doing for the past couple years!
Change up bedroom interiors. Autumn and spring is probably the only times I change up my room interiors and introduce new things into it or have a reshuffle! In October, I like to take out my autumnal/wintery candles and start burning them, as they have a warm red/orangey/brown shade to them it makes the room look more warm and autumnal too. I’m currently burning sparkling cinnamon by Yankee Candle! I also like to reshuffle the dish I have on my desk with some rocks/stones I’ve collected and add dried flowers to a mini vase I have.
Add new knitwear into my wardrobe. This is something I started doing for the past 2 years. I browse some stores and brands and like to pick out a few knitwear jumpers, not much 2 or 3 at most and implement them, into my wardrobe. I like to buy my knitwear consciously as its something I’ll be wearing A LOT for the next 6 months or so I like it to match various different outfits!
Visit somewhere in London. I love exploring new places in London, and autumn is one of my favourite seasons to do it and this year I’ve been to Tate Gallery in Bankside and also to Hampstead which was lovely.
Make a list of books to read. It’s a no surprise that I love reading and during autumn and winter I basically thrive and get through loads of books, as I don’t actually like reading when I’m on holiday like majority of the people. I always add new books to read on my Goodreads account and buy them as of when I get through the ones on my shelf!
New skincare routine. Autumn is also a time of the year which I find myself actually sticking to a skincare routine and doing it everyday to maintain that post summer vacation glow. I have added a couple new products to my skincare routine lately and I will share them in a blog post soon!
This is all for my autumn rituals, comment down below some of the things you do every year during autumn!
