Goals I Want To Achieve Before 2018

It’s July which means we’re already half way through 2017 which for me is CRAZY!! This is a bit of a weird timing throughout the year to set goals as it’s always a cliché thing to do around new year and January! First half of this year was least to say very hectic for me as I was in the second year of my A-levels which meant revising for exams and completing coursework! It’s July now and I’m all done with my sixth form studies, sat all my exams completed everything and I’m no longer a sixth form student anymore and will be starting university in October! As I’m typing this I am on my summer break which is VERY long (over 10 weeks) and I have loads of time in my hands to be going out spending time with friends and family and of course blogging. I wanted to set myself some goals to be able to achieve till 2018 that will hopefully challenge me for the rest of this year as well as keeping me motivated! At the end of the year I will write a reflection post on this and compare the ones I have managed to complete and hopefully work harder in 2018 to tick off any that’s left! This has been such a long rambling intro let’s just get into it!

Hope you enjoyed this post and it was a little more chatty and full of lists and hopefully I will manage to tick off all these points by 2018 and start the year with new and fresh goals! Comment down below what are some of your goals you want to achieve before 2018 or in general?

  6. It’s awesome that you set yourself some goals! Even if we’re already half the year.
Like you said, most goals are set at the start of January, but admit it… Those are goals people rarely achieve, haha.

I read 50 books up until now, so I’m sure you’ll be able to read 20! Especially since you have 10 weeks to do whatever you like!

Maybe it’s an idea to start a bullet journal, if you haven’t already? It’s a way to get creative and plan everything you want to plan!
    Two birds, one stone!

You can add one follower to your blog already, so that’s one down, haha.

Good luck with your goals, but… Most importantly:
    Have fun achieving them!

    • Thank you so much! This means a lot! Now seeing that you read 50 books it makes me feel like i will defo achieve reading 20! Also i really want to start bullet journalling so it’s defo my goal for 2018! Thank you! Xx

It’s always a goal of mine to read more and take care of my skin. I also have a lot of blogging/social media goals for the end of this year/the start of 2018.

Best of luck with every goal!

  8. University will seem really difficult to adjust to at first but OMG you will love studying what you have been passionate about and interested in for so long! What made me really organised this second year of my uni studies and help me get great grades was to buy myself an academic planner and I would write down exactly what work I would aim to get done or continue to do on that date, as well as planning down time and activities. This is a goal I hope to continue into my final two years of study!

I hope you achieve your goals because you are a wonderful blogger!

  9. Best of luck on achieving these goals! Organization is always on my to-do list, and I love that feeling of accomplishment that comes with finishing a journal. Good luck with the blog goals, too!!

  12. Wow! Loads of goals but I guess you’ve got 6 months. Good luck!! I’ve been reading more this year and trying to read the classics that everyone usually recommends. Also finished my scrapbook this week which I’m happy with.

There is nothing wrong with setting goals in July. I actually believe in setting goals at the start of each new month, that way you don’t have to wait as long to restart if you slip.

  15. These are such good goals to set yourself! I am also a book worm and in my most recent blog post I also said that I wanted to read more, but alevels had priority! Consistent blogging is also another aim of mine! I cant wait to read more of yours though!! XX

How exciting that you’ll be starting university later this year!! I graduated from uni last year and it was definitely an experience hahah I love that you’ve got these goals you want to achieve, so many people (myself included) forget about the goals they set at the start of the year but I think it’s awesome that you’ve jotted some down here 🙂 good luck with them 🙂 Em xx

I can never finish a journal 😂 It’s just impossible when there are so many cute once out there and you just have to write in all of them ❤️😂

  19. This aligns with a lot of my goals in that I also really want to spend a lot of my time blogging before I start my second year of uni and to enjoy every second of it. Good luck with your goals!! 😊
