Product Empties #3

I’m back with another product empties post and I can say I have been using up loads of products recently, and before I even started writing this post my product empties box is already full to the brim, so expect another post soon. You can also read my previous product empties post HERE!! I have loads of products to talk about so let’s just get straight into it.

1. Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask

I always go on and on about these tissue masks but they are my fave ultimate pick me up product. They give instant hydration and moisture to my skin, applies easily, you just have to take it out the packaging, unfold it and apply to the face. It can get a bit messy as it has liquid product on it, but it’s so worth it. It’s also only a couple quids so isn’t too expensive either.

Would I repurchase?

Yep, deffo would.

2. Primark Mango Passion Perfume

Brought this perfume from Primark last summer before going on holiday as it’s a small size and thought it’d be perfect for travelling and having it in my hand luggage. It smelt really nice to be honest, it had a quiet sweet scent but not a sickly one. It was only £2 or something along those lines so not pricey either. I actually have a few different bottles of these perfumes from Primark in different scents as I like to carry them in my handbag or take them when I go on holiday, as if they smash or if I loose them I won’t be too sad to be honest as it’s only from Primark.

Would I repurchase?

3. Red Nail Varnish

Don’t really know what the brand of this nail varnish is, I had it in my collection for a few years to be honest. It was a lovely orange-y red shade and applied easily, however was a bit opaque so needed two coats majority of the time.

Would I repurchase?

4. Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter

I got this body butter from Beauty-con in 2016 so it wasn’t something I brought. The scent of this body butter is sugar crush and it really does smell of sugar overload to be honest. It has a very strong lemon and lime scent and it’s quite sickly so i didn’t really enjoy using it for that reason. However the actual consistency of the product was good, it’s a body butter so it was thick and as with usual body butters you have to massage it into your skin quiet a lot so it can sink in. I liked the consistency but not the scent.

Would I repurchase?

5. Nip and Fab Glycolic Fix Gentle Pads

I thoroughly enjoyed using these pads from Nip and Fab. It’s so quick and easy to use as the pads are already soaked in Glycolic acid so all you have to do is to swipe it across your face and gently exfoliate. I used these pads once a day during my skincare routine, so they did last me for about 2 months. It definitely made my face brighter and more healthy looking.

Would I repurchase?

6. Simple Eye Balm

I’ve had this eye cream from simple for quiet a while now as I find finishing eye creams so hard as you only nee a tiny bit for each eye. I really liked this, it felt very hydrating and soothing under my eyes when I used it.

Would I repurchase?

7. Rose White Perfume

I brought this perfume when I was on holiday in Turkey because it smelt quiet nice and fresh. This perfume is actually made of real rose extracts so it deffo smelt more ‘real’ than other rose perfumes you’d get in stores. It didn’t have a sweet scent, actually it had a fresh scent to it. I liked it, but was very strong.

Would I repurchase?

8. L’Oréal Pure Clay Glow Scrub

This is probably the best facial scrub I have ever tried… and that is a statement and a half. It deffo purified my face and got rid of any excess oil I had. I would use this scrub in the morning as I found that worked best for me. After using for 2 weeks I have definitely found that it made my face so soft, smooth and glowy as well. Would recommend to everyone who has oily skin.

Would I repurchase?

9. Essence Caring Nail Oil

This is a cuticle oil from Essence and I thoroughly enjoyed using it on my nails before I painted my nails at home. I really like to grow my nails out and it’s quiet hard when they grow long and are too brittle and break easily. However this cuticle oil really helped make my nails stronger and helped them stay long for a longer amount of time.

Would I repurchase?

10. Tanya Burr Velvet Vanille Perfume

I received this perfume in a goody bag from an event with Tanya Burr Cosmetics that I had been to, so I didn’t actually purchase the product myself. This perfume had a sweet scent but not a very sickly one so was quiet nice to use. However this perfume is very strong so I didn’t really use it on a daily, and used it more during the evenings.

Would I repurchase?

11. NYX HD Concealer

This is one of them concealers that I quite liked but couldn’t enjoy using it as much. This is because the lady working at NYX actually matched me a shade what she thought was my natural skin colour. However, the colour was very pink undertones and it was a bit dark for me as well. Whereas the formula was really good, I’d say this concealer is definitely medium coverage concealer and I used it on my spots and blemishes and it covered them really well.

Would I repurchase?

12. L’Oréal Elnett Flexible Hairspray

I didn’t actually pick this product up for myself, I found it in my bathroom at home and took it and claimed it was mine (lol). I don’t really use hairspray that often as I HATE the texture of it when it’s in my hair. I only ever use it when am going to an occasion like a wedding or something and I want my hair to stay put. I did quiet like it, it did the job it had to.

Would I repurchase?

13. Yes To Cucumbers Facial Wipes

This was the first time I had used facial wipes from Yes To and I liked them to be honest. I wouldn’t say it was the best one I used as I tried better ones, but it did take my makeup off and it wasn’t so dry and I didn’t have to scrub my face to remove the makeup off. I wouldn’t mind using it if I had some lying around but I wouldn’t go and especially buy these ones.

Would I repurchase?

14. The Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel.

The Body Shop shower gels are my absolute favourite as you only need a tiny bit and it bubbles up so much and the smell is strong as well. I have many bottles of The Body Shop shower gels still in my beauty drawers and would always use them and would not switch back to any other. This one in particular smells of oranges (duhh) and it smells so fresh and lovely.

Would I repurchase?

15. Batiste Dry Shampoo

I really enjoyed using this dry shampoo, it’s so quick and easy to use. It smells very fresh and light as well. It didn’t leave any white marks in my hair either as I massaged in the product thoroughly. This is probably the best dry shampoo I have ever tried.

Would I repurchase?

16. Superdrug Naturally Radiant Night Cream

This is a very thick moisturiser from Superdrug and it’s a night cream. I liked using it as it hydrated and moisturised my skin and it didn’t have any smell to it as well. I would wake up with soft skin in the morning after applying this product before bed. However I found other moisturisers that I enjoy more than this.

Would I repurchase?

17. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +

This is another product that I always go on and on about as it’s just my favourite ever. It works so good on my skin and prevents blemishes. This product unclogs pores and prevents spots and blemishes from appearing on the in surface of the skin. I love this product and use it everyday and I already am on my next bottle and it’s actually about to finish.

Would I repurchase?

  4. I loove the Satsuma range from the body shop it literally smells so zesty and amazing! To be fair I don’t think they do a shower gel I dislike. I really need to try some stuff from the l’oreal clay range as I’ve read so many amazing reviews about it but never got round to picking anything up! I also love Primark little cheapy perfumes too, you really can’t go wrong to chuck it in your bag for a top up spray!

The moisturise bomb tissues masks are some of my favourites but they are best when they are on offer! I’m glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t like the smell of the sugar crush by S&G! I need to pop to Primark to pick up that perfume, seems great for the inexpensive price tag that it comes with

This is such a good post – I love the way you lay everything out so concisely. I always love me some Batiste dry shampoo so you have me hooked there (lol!) – I also had the SAME thoughts on that NYX concealer! It’s a good product with medium coverage, but my shade was awful and way too orange. It also doesn’t have much in it so I ran through it very quickly.

Oh, another thing I thought of while reading about your Garnier face mask is that Neutrogena has a hydro-boost one you might like just as well! It sounds similar and I really enjoyed it 🙂

  29. Ellie says:

Amazing post, I love the Garnier masks too- very hydrating! I love how you included whether or not you would repurchase Xx
