Summer Travel Skincare 2017

I’ve recently come back from my summer holiday from Turkey and I wanted to do this post before I actually flew to Turkey and to briefly talk about what skincare products I will take on holiday with me. However I didn’t get the chance to, so I thought I’ll do it for after I come back from holiday as I will actually be able to mention if I’ve actually used every single product regularly.

I took a mini travel size Garnier Micellar water, I used this to take off any makeup I had at the end of the day. Micellar water is honestly the easiest way to remove makeup and also to cleanse and it doesn’t require rinsing after so works in a 2 in 1 product. Next I took a bottle of Simple facial toner. I have been using this product for over 2 years now and I swear by it. I use this both in the morning and night after I have taken off my makeup for a second cleanse and it also hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling clean and soft. I actually took this in those mini clear travel bottles as taking a whole bottle would have been a waste of space and it may have leaked as well.

I’m not the person to use a face scrub on a daily, for me it’s more of a weekly thing just to deeply cleanse and exfoliate. I’ve recently purchased this Pure Clay Glow Scrub from L’Oréal and used it a couple times and thought it was really good to use after a day of sunbathing whilst on holiday! Also this blemish stick is great to pop up any spots and blemishes and it dries out the spots in a day! For a serum I thought I’d take this one from clearly youthful, it’s lightweight and works great under the moisturiser!

These next couple of items are from Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant range and I’ve been using them for couple weeks now and found it works great for my skin and hydrates it a lot! I took the facial oil to use at night along with the renewing night cream and this combo works great for me and leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft the next morning. Along with the night cream I also took the brightening eye cream and face moisturiser to use in the morning. Also I took a lip balm, to be honest it came very handy as I didn’t wear makeup everyday on holiday so this was great to keep my lips hydrated and moisturised.

Hope you enjoyed this chatty post and let me know in the comments what products you take on holiday with you.

Ayse Merve!

I really love using micellar water to remove my makeup as well, I tried the Garnier one but it didn’t work for me but I do love Bioderma 🙂

I don't have a very complex skincare routine, for me it's just wash my face… and that's it XD Some of these products look amazing though, I will have to try a few out! Thank you for sharing xx
