Sunday’s are always the day I look forward for during the week, as its possibly my favourite day of the week. I see it as a day of rest, relaxation and just chill. I like to have a slow sunday doing the bare minimum. Wanted to a write a post dedicated to how I like to spend my Sundays and this may spark some ideas for you.
Have a late breakfast. There is nothing better than having a big lie in and then following that up with a equally nice big breakfast.
Scrolling aimlessly through Instagram. This is what I do everyday, but it just feels better doing it on a Sunday with no plans guilt free rather than doing it instead of tackling the long to do list I have during the week.
Making the perfect cup of coffee. Best part of a Sunday for me is drinking my coffee with pleasure and joy.
Getting caught up in a good page turner book. Because coffee and a good book goes hand in hand, they are most likely to be consumed together; coffee in one hand and the book in the other.
Doing that very long, extra beauty routine that has about 75 steps. I’m talking that big shower/bath you take that consists of doing a hair mask, using a body scrub, followed by a luscious thick body butter, cleansing the skin, doing a face mask sesh, and a million lotions and potions you put on your skin.. you know all the good stuff.
Planning out my week. The organisational nerd I am I love to schedule and plan out my days for the upcoming week. I use a bullet journal to do this, as i prefer to have everything in one place.
YouTube/Netflix catch up. Another one of my fave Sunday activities is to catch up on some shows and youtube videos in a candle lit room, cuppa tea and snacks!!
Scrapbooking. As I mentioned in one of my previous blog posts, I started a new scrapbook and on Sunday’s I catch up with that and fill out some pages for the days thats gone by.
Write and publish a blog post. This is exactly what I am doing right now!
Pinning on Pinterest! I like to use the last hours of this perfect slow Sunday to scroll through Pinterest and fill myself with some inspiration and update my mood boards on there.
This is exactly what majority of my Sunday’s look like, hope you enjoyed reading this post!
