I haven’t wrote a beauty related blog post in ages so thought I’d kick start it off again with a winter beauty edit, talking all of the products I’ve been using religiously and loving this winter. I have oily skin usually but during winter I tend to get some dry patches around my cheek area and my skins begins to look dull. I always try to put some more time and effort into my skincare and makeup during the colder months.

Glossier Futuredew: You have probably seen this product all of Instagram, as it’s a recent launch by Glossier and it definitely is a good one! Futuredew is a oil serum hybrid which is described as a skincare product by Glossier as the last step in your skincare routine. However, I use Futuredew as the first step in my makeup routine as a primer. Futuredew has the consistency of a serum and the texture of an oil, which is really nice as it doesn’t feel tacky on the skin but feels moisturising enough. I use one pump of this as a makeup primer and it gives the most beautiful glow and dewy look to the skin without being ott. It’s definitely a winter staple for me that preps my skin for the makeup! Glossier cloud paints: The next two products are from Glossier again, as I love the brand if you couldn’t tell! Cloud paints by Glossier are basically cream blushers, they have a variety of shades but my favourites are ‘dusk’ and ‘beam’. Dusk is the perfect nude for my skin tone, it gives a natural healthy glow to my skin! I love it during both summer and winter, but it definitely adds a healthy glow to my makeup during these colder months!

Pixi Glow Glycolic Boost Sheet Mask (gifted): Sheet masks are my absolute favourites to use during these colder months as they give instant hydration and moisture to the skin! This one from Pixi is one of my favourites as it has a lot of product in it and gives my skin an instant boost of glow!

Dermalogica Biolumin-C Eye Serum (gifted): This is a recent product that I have received by the lovely people at Dermalogica and I was so intrigued by it so started using it straight away! It’s a vitamin C eye serum that is meant to help brighten and firm the eye area. I have thoroughly enjoyed using this as an eye cream as its the perfect texture and consistency to make my eye area feel hydrated and moisturised. I love using this at night and it makes my under eyes look more bright and youthful the morning after!

Hope you enjoyed reading this blog post, comment down below if you have tried any of the products mentioned in this blog post and what are some of your winter beauty staples?

What an amazing concept this post, I love it! Future dew is such a staple for me as I can use it in a few different ways in my routine and it’s such a unique product. I’ve also been loving liquid and cream blushes this winter because they’re just so flattering and hydrating looking, I need to try the cloud paint. What are your favourite shades of it? I love that you have included skincare too because it’s so important to include skincare in these type of posts in the harsher weather conditions.
